Cost of Tuition in Cyprus

Estimated Undergraduate Tuition:  Between €2800 – €7200.
Estimated Postgraduate Tuition:  Between €5500 – €12800.

Cyprus has the warmest climate (and warmest winters) in the Mediterranean part of the European Union. The average annual temperature on the coast is around 24 °C (75 °F) during the day and 14 °C (57 °F) at night. Generally – summer’s/holiday season lasts about 8 months, begins in April with average temperatures of 21–23 °C (70–73 °F) during the day and 11–13 °C (52–55 °F) at night, ends in November with average temperatures of 22–23 °C (72–73 °F) during the day and 12–14 °C (54–57 °F) at night, although also in remaining 4 months temperatures sometimes exceeds 20 °C (68 °F)

QUALITY OF EDUCATION IN CYPRUS:

With a literacy rate of 97.6, you can ascertain that the educational levels in Cyprus is high up there. As most individuals above 25 years of age have either completed their higher education or have a post graduate degree.
The degrees obtained from the Republic of Cyprus are accredited worldwide as the education in Cyprus is registered under the Erasmus system. There is better mobility for students who attend private Universities and Institutions due to the various international partnerships with foreign education bodies and institutes, some governmental laws restrict students from public universities in a few cases. GENERAL SAFETY IN CYPRUS:

Cyprus is very safe for foreigners as there is an almost zero crime rate throughout the Island. Internationals take up almost 35% of the population in Cyprus as it is a major tourist attraction especially during the summer. This makes it safe as the locals are very familiar and friendly with foreigners.

RELIGIOUS BELIEFS IN CYPRUS:

About 95% of the population are orthodox Christians, however there is freedom of worship so individuals with different religious beliefs will also find their place of worship in Cyprus.

WORK AND STUDY OPPORTUNITIES:

International students are allowed to work in Cyprus for a period of 20hours a week after 6 months of arriving in Cyprus. Students must be enrolled in an institutions and must possess a pink slip in order to be allowed to work. Jobs like waiters, store attendants, hotel aids etc are mostly inherited by students.
